Perfectionism: The Writer's Curse

You know that feeling when you've written something, and you are super proud of it, and then someone else wants to read it, and you suddenly question whether every single sentence is actually good or not? I just found someone in my ideal reader group who wants to read the draft of my novel, and I keep telling myself I will send it to her as soon as I read through it one last time. Except every time I read through it, I find something that needs changed before it can be "perfect." So then, obviously, I have to start reading it again from the beginning. Is it perfectionism or self-doubt? Should I just send it to her already? Let me know if any of you have gone through that anxiety when having someone else read your writing. If so, believe me, you are not alone!
