Officially Querying!

As of yesterday evening, I have sent out queries to agents for the manuscript of my novel (working title) Lost in Thought. If you've read my post on titles, then you know I am always open to suggestions! Here's my pitch for the book: After experiencing close calls with death, characters are transported to a world where nature mirrors people's emotions, and they must survive traveling through their own inner turmoil for a chance to return home. I am beyond excited, to the point where after I sent out the queries last night, I could not fall asleep. Even though I know that it takes weeks or even months on average to hear replies, the anticipation is already driving me crazy!! If any of you are also in the midst of the querying process, I am sending you positive vibes. I'll keep you updated on any news, and I would be glad to hear about your own experiences with querying as well!
